40 km. away from main city. From the Nagpur highway, NH7 an 11 km drive

of river which is a favourite picnic destination called Temar falls. The small
dam is a major source for water through its canals and of course, electricity.

nearby colony of Bargi nagar has all the amenities available and people are
cooperative. The site requires a mandatory entry of visitors at the 'naka' and
the area is open for visitors till late evening. It is however
recommended that all needful things are carried like water bottles and food.
Also, littering is not allowed.

and ideal for a whole day picnic. So dont forget your towels before you go!
One last thing, as usual, the road to Bargi from jabalpur is not smooth at places, and is a frequent but green highway with steep curves, so
drive carefully. There is a petrol pump near Tilwara bridge and a few kms away
too, where you can also have food at the dhaba. So, gear up your belts
